One of the best things we can do as parents is to listen. But, it is really easy for us to give advice, to tell our kids what they should do in certain situations and to jump in the conversation and say what we think.

When we feel connected to someone we feel known, loved and cared for. As parents, we can be intentional with how we connect with our kids. So, how do you do that? How do you take time to connect with each of your kids?

How do you identify yourself? As a parent, your career, an athlete, a crafter, a friend. Being a parent is an important role and one that can be consuming. Being in the workforce and having a taxing job can be all consuming.
